Ron Clark Conference:

Melissa Vanderstappen and Alicia Coats came to give feedback on their experience at Ron Clark earlier this month. The movement, kinesthetic learning, relationships.  Creating an amazing culture and classroom community.

Joni shared about her experience and capitalized on the importance of the system.  Talked about the complete buy-in that is needed. And her experience with using the system in her own school.

We will continue to support and send teachers to RCA to build the program at WW.

Safety Concerns:

Update: Orchard Springs is gone and bus situation went smoothly

Kindergarten dropoff in the morning, concerned parents that the kindergartners had a long way to travel to get to their doors.  There were some conflicts that arose. Kindergartners are now entering through the “breakfast” doors and then enter out the doors in the middle of the school to be closer to their door and avoid so many of the older students.

Current Plan:

Bold School Books are purchased

Goal #1: STEAM and Fine Arts: People that went to RCA this year and the house committee team that will do ongoing training for RCA.  Art teacher is preparing the assessment for the BOY of year. Will report that out later.

Money allocated for STEAM will go towards our house competition 2nd and 3rd quarters.  Schoolwide competition will be on Dec 13

2 more people were able to go to RCA, but still came in under budget

First house fieldtrip is this Friday for Amizade.

35 Chromebooks and Charging Cart $9,000
