January 27, 2021

Welcome & Review of minutes: Those in attendance-Joanne Hobbs, Kristen Fowers, Cayley Holmes, Chris Whetton, Neisha Rowley, Scott Slater, Jake Petersen, Ryan James

Motion for approval of minutes-Jake Petersen, all approved.

Digital Safety: Ryan James from WSD tech dept presented information about the digital safety measures used in the district:  Iboss filtering system, Bark & Filter reports and the Chromebook management system.

Reading Goals: Cayley Holmes reported the middle of year data from Acadiance testing.  Our school results:

K BOY-69%, MOY-61%  -8%

1 BOY-44%, MOY-48%  +4%

2 BOY-46%, MOY-45%  -1%

3 BOY-57%, MOY-56%  -1%

4 BOY-61%, MOY-61%   0%

5 BOY-50%, MOY-52%  +2

There will be new directions with grouping our second and third grade for supports utilizing aides.

Safety: Scott Slater requested to review End of Day Pick up procedures.  We will explore options to facilitate a more timely and safe way for students to be picked up.  This will be reviewed in our school leadership team, and input requested at the district.
