West Weber Community Council Meeting Minutes

November 18, 2020

Attendance: Chris Whetton, Neisha Rowley, Shae Petersen, Jake Petersen, Sarah Hodson, Cayley Holmes, Kristen Fowers, Joanne Hobbs

Excused: Scott Slater

Minutes were reviewed and motion to approve by Chris Whetton.

Safe School Routing Plan was presented by Kristen Fowers. Everyone was in agreement that we would like to begin proceedings of getting sidewalks near the east of the school for those students who walk.

Proposed Amendment to the 2020-21 plan has been approved by the WSD Board of Education as well  the Utah State Trustland.

Amendment #1

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic there will be no travel to the Ron Clark Academy.  The funds that supported this ($14,500) will go towards more aide time to provide interventions and support for students in grades K-6.  An aide will be assigned to each grade level for supports in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, Technology and other duties as needed.
