The countdown to a new school year is on, and we’re looking forward to welcoming our West Weber Cowboys for an amazing 2026–2027 school year! Whether your child is new to our school, beginning Kindergarten, or entering 6th grade, we're excited to partner with your family for another year of learning, friendships, and success.
To help you get ready, be sure to save these important dates:
*July 30: New Student Registration 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
*August 3: Annual Enrollment opens for returning students in PowerSchool
*August 14: Teacher assignments become available in PowerSchool
*August 20: Back-to-School Night 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
*August 24: First Day of School!
*August 24–28: Early Release Schedule (Students dismissed at 12:20 p.m. each day)
Parent Reminders:
*Verify your PowerSchool account: Before August 3, make sure you can access your account so you're ready to complete annual enrollment and view your child's teacher assignment when it's released on August 14.
*Prepare for early dismissal: During the first week of school (August 24–28), students will be released at 12:20 p.m. Please plan transportation and after-school arrangements accordingly.

Free summer lunch for children is available Monday - Friday, 11:30-12:30; June 1st - July 23rd. Please note the dates, locations, and the "rules" for participation.
🎉🎶 Our West Weber Elementary school choir held an awesome assembly this past week to celebrate the Sesquicentennial of the United States of America!
Our talented students beautifully sang patriotic songs, both classic and new, filling the room with a sense of pride and love for our country. ❤️💙
From a stunning performance for parents on Thursday night to an uplifting assembly for our student body on Friday morning, our choir brought everyone together with their beautiful music. 🎤👏
A huge shout out to our music director, Marion Call for her enthusiasm and hard work in preparing the choir, to Elda Jones and Doug Hall for their accompaniment, and to all the students for their dedicated practice and passionate performance. You all made us so proud! 🙌🌟

Kindergarten is playfully counting down to the last day of school, one letter at a time. Today, the spotlight was on “B,” and the kids marked the occasion with a burst of bubbly fun outside.

Today was all about high energy and big wins at our school assembly! 🤠 Our K-3 students kept it cozy with a well-deserved movie marathon, while our 4-6 crew absolutely raised the roof!
There is nothing quite like the sound of powerful laughter filling the room. These students truly have a gift for creating happiness wherever they go. We couldn’t be prouder of the spirit and heart our students showed today.

It’s the end of an era at West Weber! We are absolutely heartbroken (but so excited for them!) to announce the retirement of not one, not two, but THREE of our absolute LEGEND educators. 🥺💖
Join us in celebrating the legendary Mrs. Drake (34 years of inspiration! 👑), the incredible Mrs. Anderson (25 years of changing lives! ✨), and the amazing Mrs. Smith (28 years of pure magic! 💫).
That is a combined EIGHTY-SEVEN YEARS of passion, dedication, and countless minds shaped. We cannot possibly count the smiles they’ve made or the impact they’ve left on our school and community. 🥺
They are hanging up their whistles and turning in their grade books for good, but first, we want to send them off in true West Weber style—with one final recess! 🎉
Please join us on the playground to share a snack, a memory, and one last whistle!
